Review:
From the blurb – “In late 2003 Pentaphobe were first asked to create music that would complement Rachel Brice's fusion style, and at the same time be appropriate for performance in a night club. They are joined here by some of the big names in Tribal Style music, such as Solace with Jeremiah M Soto and Jeff Rees. A TRIBAL METAMORPHOSIS is a collection of tunes inspired by traditional Middle Eastern rhythms.”
Unfortunately this music is so written for Rachel's style its very hard to put your own spin on it. Can be hard to understand – unless you know its industrial – and you can only understand that if you have listened to it!

Blurb – it's exactly what it says on the tin!!
"This CD provides an exciting palette of tribal rhythms enhanced with a myriad of percussive instruments, each piece containing enough playful accents for the advanced dancer to keep an audience intrigued, yet clear and uncomplicated enough to act as a rhythm study for the beginner/intermediate dance." --Krisha Kazimira
The inside of the CD cover has notation of different rhythms and how the pattern played on the drum compares to that played on zills. Notated rhythms include: Beledi, Chifte-telli, Masmoudi, Saidi, Kashlama, Ayyub, Moroccan 6/8, Shoush, and Laz 7/8”
